Hampden Park (Scotland / Queens Park)

In 1903 Queen’s Park moved to the current Hampden site, which featured a stand designed by Archibald Leitch. The stadium remains the home of the Scotland national team, and was completely redeveloped in the 1990s.
Hampden Park held the record for the largest football stadium in the world from 1903 until 1950. It hosted the 1937 Scotland vs. England international match in front of 149,415 spectators, an attendance record in European football that stood for decades.
