The Scottish Groundhopping Guide is for supporters planning to visit any men’s or women’s football ground in Scotland, or those just curious to know a bit more about a particular club. Much of the original information was contained within the Non League Scotland website created and maintained by Jamie Wire and Andy Hickie. Thanks also to Groundtastic: The Football Grounds Magazine for keeping this site alive until Supporters Direct Scotland could take over.
Huge credit also to John McLaughlin for his work on the Scottish Football History project – links to each club’s history are included on their pages on this site – and to George Young for his invaluable work on gathering information on disability access for each ground.
If you have additional information that we can add please contact us by email, or by posting a comment on a club’s page. We’re always looking to add photos, particularly for clubs who are new to the Scottish football pyramid. None of this work would be possible without the many contributions from our groundhoppers!
Should you wish to use any of the content in this website in other websites or in programmes then please be kind enough to acknowledge where it came from.
